El portal “cátedra-raizal” pretende, en primer lugar, despertar el interés por la belleza y el significado de la cultura y del idioma raizal (Jamaican Creole) de San Andrés, Providencia y Santa Catalina. Aquí encontrará, entre otras cosas, un alfabeto endógeno basado en investigaciones lingüísticas para su creación, además, información sobre el uso y la procedencia del idioma raizal, sobre las formas tradicionales de agricultura, ejemplos de la arquitectura raizal y también sobre la gastronomía jamaicana de los raizales. Ancestralidades que están en peligro de extinción y que deben ser fomentadas y salvaguardadas para darle sentido a la diversidad cultural, tanto colombiana como universal.

Ahora bien, el objetivo principal del portal es proporcionar material para la enseñanza del idioma raizal para que sea implementado en el sistema educativo, pero también para que las autoridades oficiales, públicas y privadas puedan acceder a su aprendizaje.

Hasta ahora no existe tal material y, por lo tanto, no hay ninguna oferta de enseñanza en las escuelas. Esto significa que los niños que han crecido en casa con el idioma raizal tendrán problemas al comenzar la escolarización porque las clases solo se ofrecen en español.

No obstante, estudios científicos han demostrado claramente que el aprendizaje tiene éxito si el alumno aprende en su propio idioma materno.

La tarea de elaborar dicho material didáctico, de manera suficiente, representa un compromiso bastante ambicioso y solo puede ser posible si existe cooperación entre muchos autores.

Por lo tanto, la plataforma ofrece la oportunidad de reunir a dichos autores para desarrollar proyectos conjuntos sobre el idioma raizal (Jamaican Creole) de San Andrés, Providencia y Santa Catalina en Colombia. Y también para promover la creación de redes con colegas de la región del Gran Caribe que estén comprometidos con el uso, fomento y revitalización del idioma raizal en sus respectivos países.
Por ahora, el sitio web está disponible en español. Sin embargo, tendremos ediciones escritas en el idioma raizal (Jamaican Creole) de San Andrés, Providencia y Santa Catalina y en inglés.

Das Portal “cátedra-raizal” zielt zunächst darauf ab, das Interesse an der Schönheit und Bedeutung der Kultur und der Raizalsprache (Jamaican Creole) von San Andrés, Providencia und Santa Catalina zu wecken. Hier finden Sie unter anderem ein eigenständiges Alphabet, das nach sprachwissenschaftlichen Kriterien erstellt wurde sowie Informationen über die Verwendung und Herkunft der Raizalsprache, über traditionelle Formen der Landwirtschaft, Beispiele der Raizalarchitektur und auch über die jamaikanische Gastronomie der Raizales – uralte Traditionen, die vom Aussterben bedroht sind und die unterstützt und geschützt werden müssen, um die kulturelle Vielfalt, sowohl die kolumbianische als auch die universelle, mit Leben zu erfüllen.

Das Hauptziel des Portals ist es jedoch, Material für den Unterricht der Raizalsprache bereitzustellen, das im Bildungssystem umgesetzt werden soll, aber auch, damit offizielle, öffentliche und private Behörden die Möglichkeit erhalten, die mündliche und schriftliche Kommunikation mit den raizalen Sprechern in ihrer Muttersprache durchzuführen.

Bisher gibt es kein solches Material und somit auch kein Lehrangebot in den Schulen. Das führt dazu, dass Kinder, die zu Hause mit der Raizalsprache aufgewachsen sind, Probleme beim Schulbeginn haben, da der Unterricht nur auf Spanisch angeboten wird.

Wissenschaftliche Studien haben jedoch deutlich gezeigt, dass Lernen besser gelingt, wenn der Lernende in seiner eigenen Muttersprache lernt.

Die Aufgabe, solche Lehrmaterialien in ausreichendem Umfang zur Verfügung zu stellen, stellt ein recht ehrgeiziges Vorhaben dar und kann nur gelingen, wenn es eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen vielen Autoren gibt.

Daher bietet die Plattform die Möglichkeit, diese Autoren zusammenzubringen, um gemeinsame Projekte zur Raizalsprache (Jamaican Creole) von San Andrés, Providencia und Santa Catalina in Kolumbien zu entwickeln. Und auch die Vernetzung mit Kollegen in der Großkaribik zu fördern, die sich für die Verwendung, Förderung und Revitalisierung der Raizalsprache in ihren jeweiligen Ländern einsetzen.
Zur Zeit ist die Seite nur auf Spanisch verfügbar. Geplant ist aber auch eine verfasste Ausgabe in der Raizalsprache (Jamaican Creole) von San Andrés, Providencia und Santa Catalina und eine englischsprachige Version.

The portal “cátedra-raizal” aims, first of all, to awaken interest in the beauty and meaning of the culture and the Raizal language (Jamaican Creole) of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina. Here you will find, among other things, an endogenous alphabet based on linguistic research for its creation, as well as information on the use and origin of the Raizal language, on traditional forms of agriculture, examples of Raizal architecture and also on the Jamaican gastronomy of the Raizales. Ancestrality that are in danger of extinction and that must be encouraged and safeguarded to give meaning to cultural diversity, both Colombian and universal.

However, the main objective of the portal is to provide material for the teaching of the Raizal language to be implemented in the educational system, but also so that official, public and private authorities can access its learning.

So far there is no such material and therefore there is no teaching offer in the schools. This means that children who have grown up at home with the Raizal language will have problems starting school because classes are only offered in Spanish.

However, scientific studies have clearly shown that learning succeeds if the student learns in his or her own mother tongue.

The task of developing such didactic material, copiously, represents a quite ambitious commitment and can only be possible if there is cooperation between many authors.

Le portail “cátedra-raizal” vise avant tout à éveiller l’intérêt pour la beauté et la signification de la culture et de la langue Raizal (créole jamaïcain) de San Andrés, Providencia et Santa Catalina. Vous y trouverez, entre autres, un alphabet endogène basé sur la recherche linguistique pour sa création, ainsi que des informations sur l’utilisation et la provenance de la langue raizal, sur les formes traditionnelles de l’agriculture, des exemples d’architecture raizal et aussi sur la gastronomie jamaïcaine des Raizales. Traditions anciennes qui sont en voie d’extinction et qui doivent être encouragés et sauvegardés pour donner un sens à la diversité culturelle, tant colombienne qu’universelle.

Cependant, l’objectif principal du portail est de fournir du matériel pour l’enseignement de la langue Raizal à mettre en œuvre dans le système éducatif, mais aussi pour que les autorités officielles, publiques et privées puissent accéder à son apprentissage.

Jusqu’à présent, il n’y a pas de matériel de ce type et il n’y a donc pas d’offre d’enseignement dans les écoles. Cela signifie que les enfants qui ont grandi à la maison avec la langue maternelle auront du mal à commencer l’école parce que les cours ne sont offerts qu’en espagnol.
Cependant, des études scientifiques ont clairement montré que l’apprentissage réussit si l’apprenant apprend dans sa propre langue maternelle.

La tâche de produire de tels matériels pédagogiques représente un engagement assez ambitieux et ne peut être possible que s’il existe une coopération entre de nombreux auteurs.

Par conséquent, la plateforme offre l’opportunité de réunir ces auteurs pour développer des projets communs sur la langue Raizal (créole jamaïcain) de San Andrés, Providencia et Santa Catalina en Colombie. Et aussi de promouvoir le réseautage avec des collègues de la région de la Grande Caraïbe qui sont engagés dans l’utilisation, la promotion et la revitalisation de la langue Raizal dans leurs pays respectifs.
